Become an Appointed Representative of Ever North
Trade under our FCA authorisation. Keep your independence. Grow your business.
What is an Appointed Representative?
An Appointed Representative (AR) is a firm or individual that carries on FCA-regulated activity under the regulatory umbrella of an FCA-authorised principal firm — in this case, Ever North Limited (FCA Ref: 800196).
As an AR, you do not need your own direct FCA authorisation. Instead, you operate under Ever North's permission set, which covers mortgage mediation, equity release and protection insurance. Ever North takes regulatory responsibility for your activities and ensures you meet FCA standards through compliance oversight and training.
This model is well established in the UK financial services industry. It allows experienced mortgage advisers and smaller firms to operate with full regulatory cover — without the cost and administrative burden of maintaining their own direct FCA authorisation.
Key regulatory point
Under FCA rules, Ever North as principal firm is responsible for ensuring that its ARs comply with FCA requirements. All ARs are listed on the FCA Register under Ever North's entry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my own FCA authorisation?
No. As an AR of Ever North, you trade under our FCA reference (800196). You do not need your own direct FCA authorisation. Ever North is responsible for your regulated activities as your principal firm.
How long does onboarding take?
Typically 2–3 weeks from submission of a complete application pack. The majority of this time is the due diligence and FCA notification process. Incomplete applications take longer, so we recommend having all documents ready before applying.
Can I keep my own brand?
Yes. You can trade under your own business name as long as you disclose your AR status and Ever North's details in all client-facing communications, as required by FCA rules.
What products can I advise on?
Under Ever North's regulatory umbrella you can advise on residential mortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, second charge loans, equity release (including lifetime mortgages), and protection insurance.
Is PI insurance really included?
Yes. Your professional indemnity insurance is covered under Ever North's group PI policy while you are an active AR. This is a significant cost saving versus sourcing your own standalone PI policy.
What compliance support do I get?
You get a named compliance officer contact, a file review service, SMCR support, regulatory update bulletins, and a formal annual compliance review. Our compliance team is available to answer queries on any regulated activity.
How are leads provided?
Ever North operates an active introducer network of estate agents, solicitors, accountants and other professionals. Leads are allocated to available ARs based on location and capacity. These are shared on a 50/50 income split.
What is the income split?
5% of procuration fees on cases you generate from your own clients (to cover Ever North's regulatory overhead). On Ever North-supplied leads, a 50/50 split applies. There are no other deductions or charges.
Can I terminate the agreement?
Yes. 30-day rolling contract with no exit fees. Simply provide 30 days' written notice. We will manage the FCA de-notification process on your behalf.
What technology do I get access to?
Full Mortgage Magic™ platform including CRM, AI-powered whole-of-market sourcing, compliance automation tools, client-facing Finance Magic Partner app, and digital signature and e-ID verification tools.
